Jan 24/19 - Changes,

Changes, Times They are a Changin’

It’s been a long time for a blog and as the title suggests, there are lots of changes, so please bear with me.

The vinyl industry is going full tilt and unfortunately, some can’t keep up. My main distributor, RPM, closed suddenly a few weeks back and that left a huge void. I pray that it wasn’t a health issue…

I have been able to get 2 “new” wholesale companies in Canada to fill new release and re-issue orders. I am not very savvy with computers, so the orders will be weird for a month or so. I will be getting audiophile product from the U.S. and the first order/fill was awesome ! To bad our dollar sucks !! Lots of MFSL, Analogue Productions, Speakers Corner to name few. We now have well over 100 MoFi titles in stock and a nice collection of used audiophile lps will hit the shelves just after Valentines day. I will try hard to get some listed for our out of town customers.

It’s getting harder and harder to find quality used albums. A combination of re-newed interest and people doing private sales has dealers all after the same stock. In the last few months, I’ve managed to get a few collections, over a thousand pieces. I’ve been cleaning them up, playing and grading them as quick as I can. I’m hoping that they will make it on the shelves near the end of Feb.

Great stuff with obscure ( not insanely rare) titles like Rory Gallagher, Thin Lizzy, Taste and lots of blues.

We won't be filling any on-line orders for a while as we serch out a new shipping service.

Please note, the store will be closed from Jan. 28 to Feb. 14
