Aug 8/12 - Audiophile and Premium pressings traded in.

Hot, hot, hot. Wow, what a summer ! Usually, summer is a time for vinyl to take a rest as portability becomes king. Can't imagine taking a turntable to the beach...
Trade ins have been coming in at an unprecidented pace and I'm trying to clean, play and price them as fast as I can. I've been adding to the database regularly and updating daily. There is over 8000 items on the web now and with 20,000 in stock, I have a long way to go.
Vinyl records seem to be everywhere now, even the places that ditched 'em back in the late 80's and 90's. You know the chains I'm referring to... I guess their mantra should be "wherever we can make a buck"
A couple of stellar collections have just arrived, in fact I don't think I've ever purchased as many audiophile and new vinyl pressings in such a short period of time. 1/2 speed masters, 180 gram imports, and a selection of sealed long out of print lps will hit the shelves and website starting this week.
Artists include Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Beatles, Springsteen, Elton John, Santana just to name a few. Labels include MFSL, Speakers Corner, Purepleasure, Cisco and Classic Records. There are quite a few Japanese pressings as well.
The "high-light" are the Led Zeppelin albums pressed by Classic Records. These pressings are regarded as the definitive versions. There are no better pressings. Prices are "up there" but I have compared them to some U.S. audiophile sites and kept them lower than those dealers.
